On April 25-26, 2009, 100 young American Muslim leaders in civil society, politics, academia, the arts and media convened in New York City to learn techniques for disseminating their collective message of inclusiveness and respect. Highlights included:
- Targeted media and communications trainings
- Learning journeys to national, community, and local media outlets
- Small group sessions with prominent journalists from NYT, NPR, AP, Chicago Tribune, CNN, and Time Magazine
- Networking opportunities for the diverse group of MLTs
